Coming soon to Vancouver is a new condominium project developed by Pacific Northern Developments Ltd.
The northeast intersection of Barclay Street and Thurlow Street will be redeveloped into a floral-inspired residential tower to be added to Vancouver’s growing collection of upscale residential towers. This project is set for completion in 2022.
1063-1069 & 1075 Barclay Street is proposed to stand 47-storeys tall with 361 residential units. It’s currently in preconstruction and will soon rise at 1075 Barclay St, Vancouver, BC. The developers plan to house a higher ratio of family-sized units with two bedrooms which are suitable for larger families.
Inspired by Vancouver’s natural setting, Montreal-based ACDF Architecture and IBI Group plans to make the project a “tower in the park”. This will include a generous amount of trees, landscaping, and a public plaza in the southeast corner of the development to exude a park-like setting.
The tower will have iconic architecture inspired by Vancouver’s flora and fauna. The designers drew inspiration from the shapes of fig leaves and tulips which defined its garden-inspired theme.
Vancouver’s downtown core houses a diverse range of amenities and services. The project is situated in one of the city’s thriving pockets with great connectivity to the rest of the city. Plans for redevelopment and revitalization of Vancouver’s west end are on the way. Investors can expect multiple commercial and residential projects to be added to this part of the city.
Vancouver is known for its elegant skylines surrounded by beautiful nature. These two elements combined provide the city with a well-balanced mix of urban features and magnificent natural settings.
