Canderel’s 545 Lake Shore Blvd West Condos is a new contemporary high-rise condo construction in Toronto. This pre-construction project is situated at 545 Lake Shore Blvd W, in the west Harbourfront neighborhood, on the southeast corner of Bathurst St and Lake Shore Boulevard West.
This new condo complex is expected to be a brand new mixed-use condominium project in Toronto that will blend well with the trendy waterfront area. There is no doubt that the Waterfront is the best spot to construct and invest in because of its central position and proximity to the city’s amenities.
The Graziani + Corazza and Sweeny & Co Architects-designed 545 Lake Shore Blvd West Condos will rise on the 1.8-acre site formerly occupied by the historic Crosse & Blackwell Building. There are plans to replace it with two more towers.
The Bathurst Quay building is the final remaining Art Deco skyscraper. Rogers, who acquired the property in the 1970s, had already repaired it. For now, the facility is being used as a television and media studio by the existing tenants.
A variety of possibilities have been discussed while the project is in its infancy. It is possible that all three proposals would use a hexagonal pavilion from the site’s tradition as a platform. It is intended that all three facades on the west, north, and east would be preserved and incorporated in the podium.
The non-heritage facade facing the lake will be demolished. Also to be conserved are the top floors of the current building. A “Market Hall” will link the project’s ground-floor retail areas to the hexagonal pavilion’s northwest corner. The site’s southeast corner is expected to house a new main entrance.
For investors, it is essential to take notice of the towers’ diversity of office, retail, and residential areas. The podium’s second and third stories will house office space.
There’s no better place to start exploring the city than from here… Steps from Union Station, and various bus lines will be convenient for students and business executives alike.
Students will be able to go to and from the city’s main university campuses with ease, allowing them to attend courses in the morning and night. Ryerson, OCAD, and the University of Toronto are all within a few blocks of one other and York University, thanks to the subway expansion. Professionals working in Toronto’s commercial districts like the Financial District and the Entertainment District will also appreciate being in the middle of all the city offers.
With adjacent parks, including Little Norway Park, Stadium Road Park, Canoe Landing, Coronation Park, and Ireland Park, there are many possibilities for picnics and lovely strolls. In addition, residents will be able to shop at the adjacent Loblaws flagship site with ease. Additionally, the proximity to Billy Bishop Airport will be pretty beneficial, particularly for those in the industry of traveling often.
545 Lake Shore Blvd West Condos’ prime location is unbeatable. With a walkability rating of 73 out of 100, a transit rating of 87 out of 100, and a bike ability rating of 100, you can reach just about everywhere in the city using any of these modes. You may use public transportation, walk, or ride a bike to get there. The options are limitless.
