Pelli Clark Pelli Architects’ ocean-inspired design for Alberni at Cardero is one that ASPAC is excited to introduce to Vancouver. At the most sought-after waterfront location in the heart of downtown Vancouver, Alberni at Cardero will reflect the energy of the Georgia Corridor via its cutting-edge design.
Many lavish facilities will be available to residents, including a complete gym and indoor swimming pool as well as a wine tasting area, an art museum, and a soundproof listening room. Even though just one other apartment will be occupying this level, the building will have 188 units spread over its floors.
Kengo Kuma, a Japanese architect, is involved in building the structure, dubbed “one of the most recognizable buildings in the world” because of its curving facade. “Kuma’s design leads you through the discovery of Japanese use of space and elegance,” according to the description, as well as taking into consideration parts of Shinto philosophy that attempt to reconcile construction with natural components.
