Developed by Intergulf Development Group and now under preconstruction, Clarke & Como is Burnaby’s new luxury condominium. A total of 1203 apartments are housed in this 40-storey and four tower structure.
Construction has begun on a massive mixed-use tower complex at Clarke Road and Como Lake Avenue in Coquitlam, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia.
One of Vancouver’s newest restaurants is opening in Coquitlam, a few streets from Burquitlam. SkyTrain is a well-constructed suburb set atop a natural hill with stunning vistas in all directions. ‘ Burnaby Mountain and views of Port Moody’s Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains contrast with the urbanization growing in Coquitlam, where the development is located.
Como Lake, Clarke, and the upcoming Lea street expansion are within a few blocks of the four skyscrapers. There is a distinct personality to each tower. Still, they all have a common architectural language of linear and rectilinear features, floating volumes positioned above big volume glass lobby or retail/residential podium.
With cantilevered roofs, penthouse apartments are built to give vast roof decks and rain cover. Metal panel banding accentuates major vertical and horizontal characteristics.
Como and Clarke’s Podium presents an excellent potential for various shop unit sizes with its stone columns and three-story streetwall. The retail public realm will be covered by a continuous canopy that will allow for lighting and signage. While two north-south pedestrian linkages have been constructed midblock and at the extreme eastern extremity of the property, public plazas have been provided for both sides of Clarke.
Located in the center of Coquitlam, Clarke & Como is convenient to all of the city’s outdoor attractions. Clarke Rd has a slew of eateries lined up so that people may pick and choose their favorite.
They include KFC, Hanano Sushi & Grill, Pizza Factory Coquitlam, and Donair Town and McDonald’s. Safeway Coquitlam, for example, is right across the street from Clarke & Como.
The Burquitlam Plaza, located on Clarke Rd and across the street from the Burquitlam Station, is the closest retail mall. As far as schools go, there are a number of them near the property, making it an excellent location for families.
A short drive or bus ride from Clarke & Como is the Ecole Banting Middle School, North Road Montessori Child Care, Port Moody Secondary School, Mountain View Elementary, and Miller Park elementary.
Amidst the bustle of a city, Clarke & Como is nestled in an area surrounded by lush greenery and pure air. To name just a few nearby parks: Cottonwood Park, Como Lake Park, Blue Mountain Park, and Miller Park.
Bus stations for the northbound, eastbound, westbound, and southbound routes are located just outside Clarke & Come. Accessing different regions of the city becomes more accessible and more efficient due to this.
Outdoor facilities such as restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping malls are located just outside the project’s front door and are easily accessible by foot. Non-stop bus service is available in the project’s vicinity, and Burquitlam Station is a short distance away. To get to the station, one may choose between walking, taking the bus, or driving.
