The Golden Mile Shopping Centre Redevelopment project by Choice Properties REIT and The Daniels Corporations plans to redevelop the 67-year old Golden Mile Shopping Centre into a 19-acre multi-tower, mixed-use, mixed-income community with one-of-a-kind transit connectivity. The first phase of the redevelopment will include two condominium towers, one 44-storey rental tower, and an innovation hub.

The plans call for community-oriented retails to be incorporated in the development that will most likely include convenience and grocery stores inside the community. There will also be parks and open spaces within the community for the residents to socialize with their neighbours and friends.
Aside from this, there are a variety of amenities that are mere footsteps away from the development such as Metro supermarket, SmartCentres Scarborough, Eglinton Town Centre, Dollarama, and other amenities for daily convenience.
