ORCA Project revolutionizes urban community living by building a complete community in the heart of Downtown Toronto. The ORCA Project by Craft Development Corporation is the first phase of a four-part development of the 21-acre wide railway corridor between Bathurst Street and Blue Jays Way. The proposal is to build a rail corridor overbuild (deck) over the existing railways to accommodate development while not impeding the railroad activities. This mixed-use development will consist of 8 buildings and a whopping total of 368,100 square meters.
This Toronto development allocates 208,300 square meters for residential use while the rest is divided into commercial, retail, institutional, galleria, atrium, and Cogen Facility uses. There will be a total of 2750 residential units that will feature 825 one-bedroom, 1,100 two-bedroom, and 825 three-bedroom layouts.
Downtown Toronto offers plenty of urban amenities in the immediate vicinity. Countless fast-food chains, supermarkets, services, and many others are situated within walking distance from the developments in Toronto. That’s why condos like the House of Assembly and ORCA offer all facilities necessary for living.
The ORCA Community will have plenty of commercial and retail spaces available to cater to the lifestyle needs of the residents. Schools near the development include ALPHA Alternative Junior School, Bishop Macdonnell Catholic Elementary School, and E F High School.
Aside from the parks that are planned to be integrated inside the community. There are also parks nearby and the Toronto bayfront is just within walking distance. This gives the site a plethora of outdoor recreation grounds and go-to places to relax and indulge in.
