The Borough is a new condominium and townhome development project by G Group Development. The Borough will be divided into 2 phases, Phase 1 will consist of two towers that will range heights of 21-storeys ( Tower A ) and 7-storeys ( Tower B ).
Tower A will house 282 residential units and Tower B will have 102 residential units, a total of 384 units. The average price per square foot in any condo of Scarborough is $750psf, while the Borough comes in at $700 per square foot. Now, the townhomes will feature a mixture of 16 one-bedroom units, 34 two-bedroom units, and 14 three-bedroom units. Each townhome will either have a walkout patio or a rooftop terrace.
The Borough will feature amenities such as a 24-hour concierge, kids indoor playroom, a study hall, movie theatre room, a fully-equipped fitness centre, and more. Also, located on the 8th floor will be a private rooftop terrace with a barbeque and dining area. The Borough will also have a new public park that will border the south edge of the site.
The Borough is a 10-minute walk to Lawrence East Station and many of the amenities are walkable from the site. 8 minutes away is Scarborough Town Centre, where residents can shop, dine, and run errands. Families living in The Borough will appreciate being close to schools like Winston Churchill Collegiate Institute, Manhattan Park Junior Public School, Bond Academy, Bond International College, Downwood Park Public School, Northern College at Pures Toronto, and 12 minutes to the University of Toronto – Scarborough.
