The Japanese-owned Prince Hotel company already operates a hotel at 900 York Mills Road: the Westin Prince. To create a 10-storey addition to the hotel, the developers plan to remove two surface parking lots and a free-standing commercial structure while splitting the remaining 12 acres of property into three smaller blocks. 

Block G will be located on the southeast corner, which backs up to the ravine property. It will have a six-story pedestal with retail and amenity space and a 26-storey tower for a total of 32 storeys.

In addition to the 4,531 square feet of outdoor amenity space on the podium’s rooftop and the 592-square-foot outdoor courtyard accessible from the ground floor, this tower will provide 4,628 square feet of inside amenity space. 335 new residential apartments will be built in this skyscraper. 

The complex will provide 1,195 parking spaces and 384 bicycle parking spaces divided across two levels of underground parking and two levels of above-ground parking, respectively.

Location and Neighborhood

Don Mills provides a fantastic chance to be a part of a park-filled residential and business area with excellent freeway access, making it an ideal commuter location. It’s a terrific place for hikers, cyclists, and inhabitants who prefer a natural environment to escape to, thanks to the large green area that surrounds the Don Valley.

The Don Valley Parkway and Highway 401 are also easily accessible, making traveling into the center of downtown Toronto and other major GTA sites a snap. The area around the condominium building just steps away from a variety of eateries and everyday comforts, and both the posh Bayview Village Shopping Centre and the Shops at Don Mills are just a short drive away for all your shopping requirements.

Accessibility/Highlights 

The transit score for this property is 63, while the average walk score is 43. There are, however, a limited number of public transportation choices in the region. Because of this, most of the errands in the area are carried out by automobile. The Don Valley Parkway and Highway 401 are also within easy reach of the Westin Prince Condos’ residents.
