Toronto’s Tribute Communities is building a 35-storey condo complex called Y & S Condos. 20 Soudan Avenue, in the Yonge and Eglinton district, is the site of a brand-new pre-construction condominium building.
The Toronto development is scheduled to be completed in 2023. Approximately 89,000 square feet of office space will be located on floors two through six of a residential skyscraper anchored by a modern foundation. There are 284 residential units proposed, with 108 one-bedroom layouts, 141 two-bedroom, and 39 three-bedroom plans.
On the seventh storey of the Y&S Condo building, there is projected to be 6,792 square feet of interior amenity space. Party rooms with a kitchen, lounge, and business room are likely to be included among these amenities.
A separate children’s area is also likely to be included. The 6,361-square-foot outdoor facilities will also be located on the same level. This plan includes 110 parking spots on four levels of underground parking.
The tower and base elements will be blended with a grid-like pattern of highly articulated, cascading cube shapes flowing up and down the significant building faces. The modern nature of the rapidly expanding area will be reflected in both the base and the tower’s widely glass window wall system.
With varying floor plate sizes, the skyscraper will have a distinctive, asymmetrical appearance. Coworking spaces, meeting rooms, party rooms, catering kitchens, guest suites, and even a children’s playroom will be available for Y&S residents to enjoy.
There are several advantages to living in a condo near Yonge and Eglinton. Since it’s a key center for commerce, transportation, and housing, the province has designated the area as an “urban growth center” where more development may be counted on.
Over a dozen condominium projects are under development that would make it one of the densest communities in Canada, with room for more than 20,000 inhabitants in the next decade. If you enjoy the notion of investing in a hotspot, here is a beautiful place to do it.
Recently, the region has witnessed a slew of high-end condos, desired office buildings, and a multimillion-dollar retail development. On this stretch, you’ll find everything from fast food joints to fine dining establishments for the young professional looking for an urban vibe.
It’s a perfect location with a Walk Score of 99 and a Transit Score of 94. The Eglinton Crosstown LRT, now under construction, is another reason we adore Yonge and Eglinton. LRT will offer over 20 kilometers of fast transit access from Scarborough’s Kennedy Station to Toronto’s Weston Road if it is finished in the next several years.
Originally a premier developer and builder of low-rise freeholds, Tribute Communities merged with another firm 11 years ago to enter the more competitive condominium sector. For more than three decades, tribute has been a prominent player in the building business with a reputation for quality.
