Since its inception in 1993, New Horizon has been a leader in developing communities with scenic surroundings, where innovative design and top-quality craftsmanship give comfort and satisfaction. Whether this is custom estates, planned communities, or condo complexes, New Horizon is determined to alter buyer expectations of what a home may be.
New Horizon developments serve a range of individuals, from the first buyers looking to define their own independent lifestyle in a residential area or stylized condo, to new families looking for a happy environment in a planned community, to multi-million dollar specially designed estates for those seeking to realize their fantasy home.
They are devoted to developing new developments that will benefit the community and give our clients great places and facilities to fulfill their current and evolving demands via innovative vision and outstanding craftsmanship.
Each house, neighborhood, or condo is unique, earning developers’ respect by reinventing suburban and urban life for inhabitants. New Horizon is always looking for new ways to improve the communities in which they work. Ethical urban development entails purchasing and contracting locally and guaranteeing the long-term viability of the urban design.
Jeff Paikin, president and co-founder of New Horizon, was born and raised in Hamilton. Jeff came home in his early twenties after finishing his schooling at Mount Allison University to work for his family’s firm, Ennis Paikin Steel.
Jeff got intrigued with the notion of comprehensive design and construction after winning a series of bids for reinforcing steel to be utilized in high-rise condo development, office skyscrapers, and the SkyDome. in 1993, New Horizon Development Group’s ambition became a reality.
Jeff has been an active member of the Hamilton Halton Home Builders Association (HHHBA) for many years, sitting as president in 2003. Joe Giacomodonato, Vice President and Co-Founder, contributes boundless enthusiasm and unwavering attention to detail to all elements of his job at New Horizon.
Joe, who grew up in Burlington and now lives in Greensville alongside his wife and three children, began his lifelong passion of building in the 1980s, operating on job sites for many other builders during the day and restoring properties he’d purchased himself after hours. Donato Homes, a new building firm he founded in 1989, was motivated to do things well.
After collaborating with New Horizon on a townhouse development on Headon Road in Burlington, Joe and Jeff concluded that their shared vision—“build it properly, and they will come”—would be best achieved by combining their complementary abilities in the long run.
