Since its inception, Trinity has personified a spirit of leadership, making the company one of Canada’s most creative developers. It approaches each development as a unique chance to generate inspired spaces that define communities and help our occupants thrive, drawing on our extensive experience.
When John Ruddy decided to start a commercial real estate company in 1992, he had one goal: to become the country’s leading developer of retail outlets. Ever since, Trinity Development Group Inc. has built over 31.4 million square feet of retail space throughout Canada, with many of its properties serving as industry benchmarks for mixed-use land development.
This systematic approach to experience and innovation has resulted in construction projects that define societies and reshape the sector as a whole. Trinity continues to dominate through an experienced team of executives and design professionals, refusing to accept expected solutions and forging a legacy for the future.
Trinity Development Group Inc. has three distinct development segments: metropolitan mixed-use centers, community centers, and large format centers. In each, we strive to create environments that enable tenants to thrive and neighborhoods to thrive. In an industry with ever-changing needs, experience and innovation are required.
Every one of our projects, which currently includes ten large-format shopping centers, 14 mixed-use centers, and four community shopping centers, is approached with a unique, creative solution by our Development Team. In Canada, we have increased our focus on more urban mixed-use properties over the last six years.
On-time and within budget. Its construction department’s ability to execute on both is made possible by critical partnerships with consultants and contractors who thoroughly understand the entire process from start to finish.
They are currently constructing or expanding projects totaling 11.2 million square feet. To assist tenants in realizing their full profit potential, managers must have a thorough understanding of our projects. Its property management team is involved in every new project, from the design stage to the successful start of our tenant stores. It can efficiently resolve obstructive situations by utilizing proactive management techniques and instant access to all key departments.
Rideau and Chapel: Rideau & Chapel is at the epicenter of a massive revitalization that stretches down Rideau Street in downtown Ottawa. Rideau & Chapel is located on the eastern edge of the financial business district, near the Rideau Centre – an Ottawa fashion destination – and steps from the University of Ottawa, the Chateau Laurier Hotel, the Rideau Canal, Parliament Hill, and a bustling downtown.
Because the University of Ottawa’s campus is only a 15-minute walk away, future retail tenants will be able to capitalize on the student population in particular. The proximity to the brand-new Rideau LRT Station on the Confederation Line only adds to the appeal of this mixed-use development.
Rideau & Chapel will have 9,500 square feet of retail on the ground floor, 315 residential units in Phase I, and 318 residential units in Phase II. Construction is proceeding on schedule, with completion scheduled for 2022. Retail opportunities are available in a variety of unit sizes, which include end-cap with outdoor seating.
Richview square: Richview Square is located on Wincott Drive near Eglinton Avenue West in Toronto’s prestigious and affluent Richview neighborhood. Since there are few retail options in the area, this shopping center is a popular destination for a little retail therapy.
Furthermore, three schools are within a one-kilometer radius, with many more just a few steps away, forming a dense residential area. Improved transportation is on the way, with the Wincott Station on the proposed Eglinton West LRT line directly adjacent to the lot. This line will run east-west, providing direct access to Pearson International Airport and also interconnection to the UP Express and GO trains on the east end.
