Erin Mills, like the Square One area, are both centered around their respective Shopping mall. That being said, Erin Mills is less developed than its bigger brother. Erin Mills has a lot of catching up to do especially considering the amount of new condo development in Square One. However, Erin Mills has much more land that is being underutilized.

In the coming years, new condos in Erin Mills are set to see some serious growth. It’s transforming from a predominately single-detached house community to one with much more condo options in Toronto. Located just north of the 403 between Winston Churchill and Erin Mills parkway.
Some worth mentioning places of interest are Erin Mills Town Center – The second biggest mall, only after Square One. In 2010, the mall received a $100 million update, including a new food court and thousands of square in new commercial space. Credit Valley hospital is just south of there on Erin Mills Parkway – In 2012, it was rank as the number one hospital in the Greater Toronto Area. The hospital services many different medical units but is primarily known for its cancer treatment center.

Another interesting spot is the village of Streetsville. Keeping its streetscapes and historical buildings in original condition has a good job of keeping its small-town vibe. The area also has serval festivals throughout the year, such as the Bread and Honey Festival, Santa Claus Parade, Christmas Market, and Canada day celebration, including an impressive fireworks display.
Commuting Around Erin Mills
The mall and hospital have MiWay [1] (Mississauga’s regional transit service) bus stops that can take you across the city. Suppose you are planning a route to Toronto or other neighboring cities, the bus system ties into GO transit. The train system’s west line has train stops every 30 minutes so getting around is a breeze. The system can take as far a Niagara Falls, Barrie, or Oshawa.
