description

Greenpark Group has a plan for 250 Front Street East. Located just west of Parliament, this large site will be transformed into a mixed-use condominium complex.

The 19-storey structure is planned to mirror the area’s historic structures while also serving as a beacon at the site’s essential crossings with modern tower components. A third of the units are built as family-friendly two- or three-bedroom suites, making them an excellent fit for the east-expanding end’s population.

Features and Amenities

This condominium building will feature three distinct elements as part of this mixed-use project. Plans for a 66,000-square-foot, two-story podium housing retail space will replicate the breadth and beauty of the area’s historic buildings while offering active commercial usage.

The majority of the residences will be located in a C-shaped structure that rises to a maximum of 15 stories, with two 19-story towers flanking the north and south sides of the property. There will be a massive lobby on Berkeley Street, which borders the site’s eastern section, in the heart of the building’s grand design.

There will be 7,782 square feet of indoor and 7,362 square feet of outdoor amenity space on the third and sixteenth floors, respectively. 3,347 square feet of indoor space will be connected to 4,843 square feet of outdoor space on the sixteenth floor.

Parking for 429 cars and 533 bikes will be provided in an underground garage for the community’s inhabitants. Incorporating both modern and traditional elements, this condominium is sure to be a popular addition to the area.

Location and Neighborhood

Condos in Corktown are located in a popular and rapidly developing area, just east of the central center. King Street East runs through the district, which has seen significant urbanization in recent years and now has stylish boutiques, cafés, design showrooms, and George Brown College’s main campus.

Many new condominiums are being built or proposed in the Corktown district of downtown Toronto, including the historic façades of some older buildings.

Accessibility/Highlights

If you want to be close to the city and have easy access to public transportation, this area has a Transit Score of nearly 98, making it a great choice. A pilot study on the King streetcar line has resulted in significant time savings for commuters on this route. A short drive from the condo development in Toronto there is a direct bus connection between the condo development’s bus route and metro line 2.

About the Developer(s)

Greenpark Homes was formed in 1967 and has been in business ever since. In addition to creating townhouses, single-family homes, and condominiums, they also have expertise with high-rise projects. One of Canada’s top home builders, they have over 55,000 houses in the Greater Toronto Area due to their experience and competence.

All of this would not have been possible without Carlo Baldassarra, the company’s creator. In 1958, Carlo emigrated from Italy to Canada at 19. Carlo’s first profession was as a carpenter, a trade he loved, but his entrepreneurial spirit and a keen eye for business led him to pursue bigger and better things. In 1967, with an eye toward the future, he established Greenpark Homes.
