By using LEED principles in the design and construction of the property, planners want to make it a model for environmentally friendly neighborhoods. The Sky Train Evergreen Line and the West Coast Express are just a few minutes walk away, making this a prime location for Metro Vancouver to travel.
There are two bus stop stations just outside Fleville Mill, on Murray St., for eastbound and westbound travel. Restaurants, breweries, and parks are all within walking distance or a short drive away. Port Moody’s Moody Centre Station is only a few streets from Fleville Mill, so people can quickly use the train or bus to go about the rest of the city.
A short distance from Fleville Mill is Rocky Point and Inlet Parks. There are three restaurants and an ice cream shop within a short walk of Fleville Mill: The Boathouse, Pajo’s, and Rocky Point Ice Cream. The Parkside Brewery, Yellow Dog Brewing Co., and Twin Sails Brewing are all across Murray St.
Schools for kids such as Childgarden Preschool and Moody Elementary are located within a few blocks of Clarke St., and Grants St. Fleville Mill is only a short commute from these schools, making it a prime spot to call home.
