York Developments will offer a brand-new condominium development to St. Thomas’ College Street. The location of the project harbors a bustling neighborhood with easy access to facilities and recreational areas.

Location /Neighborhood

St. Thomas is a small but vibrant city with multiple facilities in the city center that make life easier for residents of this condo development in London. Because of the city’s abundance, residents can complete grocery and shopping errands on foot or within a short drive of the house.

Food Basics, Moe’s Variety-Sayed convenience store, and Horton Farmers’ Market are located near the London condo development and provide residents with grocery and daily living necessities.

SmartCentres St. Thomas, which houses over a dozen retail and service outlets, is also a short drive away from the project. Private transit is used for transportation and daily errands in the vicinity. Highways 3, 401, and 402 are close by, making it easy to travel to other metropolises and well within the GTA.

Accessibility /Highlights

St. Thomas is accessible via Ontario Highways 3 and 4, which easily connects to London, Highway 401, and Highway 402. Local Motion – Railway City Transit is owned by the city and operated by Voyageur Transportation. It includes both conventional bus service and paratransit.

The St. Thomas Municipal Airports serves the flight needs of both residents and non-residents. There are no scheduled flights at this airport; it is only used for general aviation.

The St.Thomas Municipal Airport hosts a large-scale air show twice a year. Between the years 1978 to 1979, Canada Southern Railway Station served as the only Canadian terminal for the Amtrak Niagra rainbow route. The city has two major parks: Pinafore Park in the south, next to Pinafore Lake, and Waterworks Park in the north, adjoined by Kettle Creek and the nearby Waterworks Reservoir.

The Trans Canada Trail runs through St. Thomas, and homeowners can find a pavilion in Jonas Street Park. The Lions Club Dog Site is located at 25 Talbot Road, at the far west end of Main Street.

The park collaborates with the City of St. Thomas by the St. Thomas Dog Owners Association (STDOA). The park is usually open daily from dawn to dusk.

The Kettle Creek Dog Park, launched in July 2014, is located to the north of St Thomas, off Highbury on Mapleton Line, 200 meters past Dan Paterson Conservation Area.
