Maxx Urban Towns is a 1.74-hectare low-rise development, which will be comprised of 13 three-storey stacked townhomes that will contain 264 living spaces. The townhouse blocks in Maxx Urban Towns will be grouped by their room layouts. Seven buildings will have reserved exclusively for 3 bedroom units, while the rest will have units containing 1 and 2 bedroom units. Maxx Urban Towns will have an underground parking space in order not to impact the environment, 16 spaces will be placed above ground and it will also have 264 bicycle spaces. 

All townhomes in Maxx Urban Towns will have frontage on a private or public street, or onto an outdoor amenity area. Residents living in a top-level townhouse unit will be able to access rooftop terraces, while those living on the ground floor units will be able to access patio spaces.

Accessibility/Highlights

Located a few steps from the Durham Transit bus stop and it is 11 minutes from the Pickering GO Station, which offers an easy commute around Pickering and be able to easily travel to neighbouring cities in Ontario. Residents will be able to access three shopping centres from Maxx Urban Towns: 9 minutes from Pickering Town Centre, 8 minutes from Walmart Supercentre, & 10 minutes from Costco Wholesale, where they can go shopping, run errands, and go grocery shopping.

As it turns out, Dufferin Heights in Pickering doesn’t much have to offer, especially urban amenities, which are 8 minutes from the site. Residents living in this area are highly dependent on cars and drive to nearby amenities which are a few minutes away. However, Dufferin Heights will be the ideal place for those who wish to live and raise a family just a few minutes outside the busy downtown core of Pickering.
