Charlton Residences by Oldstonehenge is a new high-rise condo project in Toronto. 1705 Weston Rd, just south of Lawrence Avenue, is the location of this pre-construction project. If built following current plans, this towering 25-storey structure will stand out on the city’s skyline and improve the surrounding pedestrian environment.

As a 25-storey structure, the Charlton Residences would include a six-storey platform and a 19-storey skyscraper section. With its L-shape, this podium wraps around the two principal streets it faces. New shop space on the street level is expected to help re-energize the area and define the public realm.

The 19-storey skyscraper will accommodate 240 residential apartments. They propose to dedicate 43% to the bigger 2 & 3 bedroom units with the combination of 37 bachelor suites, 98 one-bedroom suites, 77 two-bedroom suites, and 28 three-bedroom layouts. There are enormous balconies in many of the more extensive suites, especially in the more expensive ones.

Party and catering kitchen facilities and a fitness facility will be available to residents on the seventh story. An over 7,000-square-foot rooftop terrace with seating alcoves, lounge areas, and grilling pits will be connected to this space.

This luxurious condo project in Midtown will stand out on the horizon thanks to its distinctive design and diversified massing, which should help it become a model for modernization in the area. Step-backs have also been included in the tower design to ensure that occupants have privacy if the nearby property is developed in this rapidly expanding city area.
